Artist and Designer -currently based in Amsterdam- Cheryl Gallaway met me last week in connnection with my documentary photography project about Peacehaven. We discussed what it was like for her to grow up there, drinking cider in the dell and The Joff youth club (see photo) whose old sign we managed to dig up on our visit to the centre. After drinking our tasty milkshakes in the Meridan Centre’s Long John’s Grill we wandered through Peacehaven’s long straight avenues a trip of discovery for me and rediscovery for Cheryl Gallaway.
